This is the third year Marion Elementary School staffers have held a holiday bingo game, in which players purchase cards, to raise funds to be donated to Community Christmas. Special education paraprofessional Karen Konarik is pictured on the front page with one of the prizes, a miniature decorated Christmas tree, she won while playing the game.

Marion County wrestlers pictured are the following senior and junior members of the Marion-Peabody/Burns wrestling team: Gaetan Strypstein, John Barr III, Ben Leppke, Hunter Spencer, Logan Richmond, Hank Collett, Charlie Holub, and Thomas McGee.

Marion Chamber of Commerce members gathered Friday at JPhoto, 1501½ Sandstone, to present a First Dollar of Profit award to Diane Jeffrey.

Neighbors in the Burr Oak Addition enjoyed their annual Christmas party Sunday evening at the home of Harvey and Betty Sanders. Others attending included Leland and Lola Albrecht, Barbara and Caleb Abbott, Donna and Jim Fruechting, Bill and Kathy Goentzel, Phyllis Ragole, Katie and Bob Rahe, Diane and Rod Richmond, and Charla Wheeler.

Doug and Michele Regnier of Marion announce the birth of a daughter, Erin Noel, at 1:01a.m. Dec. 6 at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
