Our efficient Postmaster, Capt. Fred Lewis, was surprised Tuesday, by the first visit of a United States Post Office Inspector. Under the wise management of the best Postmaster General this country ever had, a personal inspection of the office is likely to be made when the Postmaster is least expecting it. He is always ready, however and after a thorough examination, he was highly compliments on the convenience and cleanliness of his office, and upon his thorough system of transacting the public business.

Mrs. Ida Reilly of Denver, Colorado, a fashionable dressmaker of great experience, has located in Marion. Guarantees perfect satisfaction. She cordially invites all ladies wishing perfect fitting gowns to give her a call. Perfect fitting waists without darts a specialty. Mrs. Reilly can be found at the residence of Mrs. Calhoun.

What’s the use of sending your laundry work to Wichita or other distant points when you can get it done just as well and just as cheaply at home? Mr. Wm. Clarkson, our city laundryman, is not only a competent man himself, but he has in his employ an expert laundry man who has had twenty years experience, and they do not allow anyone to excel their work. Why not keep at home the hundred dollars or more that is monthly sent out of Marion for work of this kind. Patronize home institutions.
