The Old Reliable Livery Stable, so long and so successfully conducted by our friend James Corbett, has been purchased by Mr. C.H. Thompson, of Indianola, Iowa, who has taken possession.

Mr. Thompson brings a large number of new buggies and good horses to add to the stock already on hand.

Mr. David Blake has just finished the nicest stone house for John Siebert west of Marion Centre. Dave is a skilled mason.

“Come out in the moonlight alone, love, and I will tell you a tale,” is the song most popular among young men, just now.

August Siebert comes around in a buggy now; the reason as he says, is that he is worth a thousand dollars more since last Wednesday. It is a boy, of course.
