Both the driver and passenger of a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero were injured Tuesday when the vehicle rolled onto its side into a ditch near 170th and Pawnee Rds.

Justin L. Chrisjohn, Marion, owner of the vehicle, hit his head “pretty hard” but the female passenger, who had been ejected, had a deep laceration to her upper left arm and was transported to the hospital.

Chrisjohn refused treatment.

Both were walking near the wrecked vehicle at 8:14 p.m. when deputies, firefighters, and an ambulance arrived on scene, according to police scanner transmissions.

Court records show Chrisjohn was charged June 17 with aggravated domestic battery, May 13 with domestic battery and criminal damage to property, and Dec. 21 with domestic battery.

All three cases are unresolved.
