Dr. Willard Bellinger, director of the Division of Dental Hygiene, Kansas State Board of Health, appeared Monday noon before the Marion Kiwanis Club and numerous guests to present the “Strong Case for Fluoridation.”

The teenage group enjoyed a hi-fi party at the City Building Saturday evening as guests of Connie Fisher in celebration of her 13th birthday. Guests included Edith Ann Jewett, Karen Schroeder, Sandra Jackson, Deanna Klenda, Faith Kelsey, Vicki Lorts, Ada Piland, Deanna Kimball, Tom Good, Raymond Remmers, Gary King, Donnie and Ronnie Druse, Gary Roberts, and Dick Varenhorst.

The only café in Tampa has been closed by the Harold Nunns, who have operated it for several years. Tampa citizens are hoping that someone will take this opportunity to go into the business.

Jan Rathert was hostess Thursday evening for a going-away party for Sue Bratton. The party started with a wiener roast followed by a slumber party and breakfast at the Rathert home for the following guests: Sue Bratton, Kathy May, Bess Haizlip, Ethel Brunner, Lou Wheeler, Lucinda Hauser, Ruth Muck, Beverly Pankratz, Bonnie Richmond, and Joan Heerey,

The Sisters at St. Luke Hospital and the staff entertained members of their Baby Alumni Association Thursday afternoon. This association was formed one year ago and has over a hundred paid members.
