ACCIDENTS
REPORTED
These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Thomas C. Holub, 62, rural Marion, was seriously injured at 1:51 p.m. Jan. 18 and rushed to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Thomas L. Oborny, 30, rural Marion, allegedly ran a stop sign with his eastbound 1973 Ford F-250 and hit Holub’s southbound 1996 Chevrolet S10.
Both pickups sustained disabling damage and were towed. Holub’s was characterized as destroyed.
The Chevy’s front, left, hood, windshield, and undercarriage were damaged. The Ford’s front, right, hood, windshield, and undercarriage were damaged.
Oborny was ticketed for failing to yield at a stop sign.
