REPORTED

These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Hillsboro Sports Complex

Timothy L. Goossen, 55, rural Hillsboro, backed his 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 out of a parking space and into a passing 2006 Chrysler Town and County at 8:18 p.m. July 28.

The Chrysler, owned and driven by Dean A. Suderman, 48, also of rural Hillsboro, sustained damage to its passenger door and passenger-side fender. No damage to Goossen’s pickup was reported.

Passengers in Suderman’s SUV included children Abi, 8; April, 10; Derek, 12; and Alana, 14. No injuries were reported.

Deputy Mason Hinz’s report blamed the accident on improper backing by Goossen, but no tickets were issued.

Meridian Rd. north of 180th Rd.

Renee G. Nolte, 17, rural Canton, was injured when she lost control of a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 7.

The car left the roadway, struck a limestone marker, rolled over, and came to rest on its wheels in a yard.

She was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance. The car, owned by Richard Nolte of the same address, sustained extensive damage.

Deputy Aaron Christner’s report said she was driving too fast for conditions on the dry, gravel road, but no tickets were issued.
