Basore wins javelin at Marion

Just two Centre track members placed at Marion Relays Thursday, but one of them took first place in javelin.
Kate Basore set a new meet record with a 128-foot, 9-inch throw.
Xavier Espinoza placed fifth in the 100-meter dash, with a sprint of 11.71 seconds.
