Cheryl Silhan

Cheryl Kay Silhan, 47, of Marion, passed January 8, 2018, at her residence.

Cheryl was born December 14, 1970, in Hillsboro to Margie and Jim Spohn of Tampa. She married David Silhan in Pilsen on Aug. 25, 1990. They had two boys, Justin and Jeffery.

Cheryl loved working for and with many people. She worked for Container Services in 1993. She also loved the St. Luke Hospital and Marion Manor. Cheryl also worked with David to manage September Apartments.

Cheryl had one job that she loved more than them all: being a wife and a mother.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Brewer, aunt Sandy Brewer, father-in-law Robert Silhan, and brother-in-law James Silhan.

Cheryl leaves behind her husband, David, and sons Jeffrey and Justin; parents Margie and Jim; mother-in-law Juanita Silhan; brother-in-law Mark Silhan and family; brother Terry Looney and family; brother Daniel Spohn and family; and uncle John Brewer.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen with Rosary before the service at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion.
