NEW jailings

Ignacio Acevedo, Jr., 30, Hillsboro, arrested by Hillsboro police Sunday on suspicion of domestic battery. Released the same day on no bond.

Samantha A. Adkins, 30, arrested Oct. 21 by sheriff’s deputies on two warrants alleging contempt of court. Released Friday on $5,000 signature bond. Previously jailed Sept. 12 through 15 for failure to appear in court and March 1 through 3 on suspicion of possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.

Leeanna R. Bessent, 30, McPherson, jailed Oct. 20 on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released Oct. 21 on her own recognizance. Previously jailed Feb. 29 on suspicion of domestic battery.

Daniel L. Bowes, 43, Ramona, jailed Oct. 20 on two warrants alleging failure to appear in court. Released Oct. 21 on his own recognizance. Previously jailed May 20 to 28, 2018, for parole violation.

Elizabeth S. Brown, 48, McPherson, arrested Sunday by sheriff’s deputies on suspicion of possession of controlled substances and marijuana and driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released Monday on $5,000 surety bond.

Donovan M. Bruce, 20, Emporia, jailed Oct. 21 on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released Friday on $1,000 cash bond.
