NEW jailings

Christopher J. Bennett, 38, Salina, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of a controlled substance, depressant, and marijuana. Released Monday on $5,000 surety bond.

Brandon A. Hayes, 29, Florence, jailed Sunday on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released an hour later on $100 cash bond. Previously jailed Dec. 14 through 16, 2018, to serve a two-day sentence, Sept. 28 through 30, 2018, for reasons not specified on the jail log, July 22 through 23, 2018, for failure to appear in court, and April 27 through 28, 2018, for attempted driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

Dimitri L. Dixon, 53, Marion, arrested Nov. 4 by sheriff’s deputies on suspicion of driving under the influence, transporting an open container of alcohol, possession of marijuana, and driving while suspended. Released Thursday on $2,500 surety bond.

Joshua Lyndon-David Estey, 18, Peabody, arrested Friday by sheriff’s deputies on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released two hours later on $200 cash bond. Previously jailed Sept. 9 through 17 on warrants alleging contempt of court, March 26 through Aug. 29 on warrants alleging bail enforcement illegal acts, and Dec. 19 through Feb. 19 on suspicion of rape, aggravated battery, and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Katie R. Hill, 32, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and depressant. Released Monday on $5,000 surety bond.

Melissa A. Tajchman, 28, Marion, arrested Nov. 4 on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released 50 minutes later on $1,500 surety bond.
