Gary W. “Gooey” Tomlinson, 43, died Thursday at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.

He was born Dec. 15, 1972, to Jeff and Rita (Stika) Tomlinson in Hillsboro. He was a certified nurse assistant.

Survivors include mother, Rita Tomlinson of Marion; sons, Caleb Tomlinson of Cottonwood Falls and Jackson Tomlinson of El Dorado; and sister, Karen Dornbush of Peabody.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was Tuesday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, with inurnment at Marion Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with Zeiner Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
