happy hustlers

Twenty-two members, seven leaders, seven parents, and five guests answered the roll call question “What are you looking forward to in 4-H this year?” at the Happy Hustler’s 4-H Club meeting Oct. 3 at Marion Christian Church.

Cassie Meyer gave a short parliamentarian speech.

Marsha Meyer gave the treasurer’s report and said that the club balance was still $1,603.52.

Marsha Meyer gave the council representative’s report, talking about dates for the coming year, club day, leader sign up, 48 hours of service, and achievement night.

Justin Smith talked about the hotdog roast on Oct. 16.

Marsha Meyer told us about record books and the 4-H newsletter. Kim Harms talked about Junior Livestock Show and Cathy Martin discussed the Book Swap and horse project.

New officers were installed.

Corin Parmley made a motion that the club pay for the tickets for members who completed a record book for the Achivement Banquet, which is Nov. 6. The motion passed.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at Marion Christian Church.
