Helen Schafer

Services for Durham native Helen Schafer, 93, who died Saturday at Kansas Christian Home in Newton, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Visitation will be an hour before the services.

Born Sept. 28, 1925, to Jacob and Christina (Miller) Schafer at Durham, she was preceded in death by sisters Laurine and Miranda Schafer.

Memorials have been established with Kansas Christian Home and Good Shepherd Hospice.
