Joan Stroda

Services for Joan Stroda, 95, who died Nov. 3 in Hillsboro, were Nov. 7.

Born Aug. 1, 1925, in Leon, to Perry and Fanny (Dixon) Strait, she married Max Stroda on Dec. 27, 1945, at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Hope.

Survivors include daughters Linda Peters, rural Hillsboro; and Janet Barrett, rural Hope; and son Steve Stroda, rural Hope. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 198 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with St. Phillips Catholic Church at Hope, 712 N Broadway St, Herington 67449.
