Lincolnville Wide Awake 4-H Club held its monthly meeting by Zoom on Feb. 8. Jayda Raymer led the club in singing”If You’re Happy and You Know It.”

The roll call, “A food I dislike,” was answered by 16 members, two leaders, and two parents. As part of the 4-H council report, Olivia Carlson and Emily Casey reported on the virtual Multi-County Club Day and Marion County Fair.

The community leader’s report was on “Happy New Year Baskets,” which were given to senior citizens around Lincolnville by 4-H families.

The Kansas Beats the Virus Committee finished designing and printing masks for distribution to students fourth grade and older at Centre Schools.

In memory of Doris Winkler, the club made a donation to the food bank.

Ryan Carlson gave a talk on his construction of a Lego Ninjago set.

For the program, the Clausing family presented a poster on the geography, history, culture, economy, and the family’s everyday life in Tanzania.

The next meeting will be held virtually on March 1st, 2021 at 6:30pm.
