Marion’s wrestling team was in action Saturday, competing at the Herington Jamboree.

No scores were kept, but the Warrior trio of Forest Slater, Will Alleven, and Charlie Nordquist all earned medals.

Slater was 1-2 on the day, finishing third.

Alleven completed the meet at 2-0 for first place.

Nordquist finished 1-1, falling to Sabetha’s fourth-ranked Cauy Rockey to take third.

The Warriors will compete Saturday at the Chase County tournament.
