Marion volleyball finished its regular season in fitting fashion, defeating Peabody-Burns during Tuesday night’s quad meet at Berean Academy.

Marion took the match in straight sets, beating its southern neighbor 25-14, 25-19.

The Warriors’ match against Berean had a similar result, with Marion downing the home team 25-17, 25-15.

The only match not to go Marion’s way came against Remington. The Warriors played a pair of close contests, but couldn’t stave off defeat, losing 25-22, 25-23.

The 2-1 showing still raised Marion’s record, raising the team to 13-15 on the season.

Marion returns to play Saturday, when the Heart of America tournament comes to Marion Aquatic Center.
