The Lady Warriors took third place at the 11th annual Marion Spikefest on Saturday.

Marion lost to Halstead, the eventual champion, during pool play, 25-22, 25-19. The Warriors beat Wichita Defenders, 25-22, 25-21, and Centre, 25-8, 25-5.

In semifinals, Marion fell to Eureka, 25-22, 25-19, before defeating Sterling for the third-place title, 25-17, 25-19.

Senior Kourtney Hansen was named to the all-tournament team.

Results from Tuesday’s matches in Marion were not available by press time.
