Not for Trump
To the editor:
I’m not voting for Donald Trump.
The condition of our country, which in turn determines the condition of our world, is way too critical and downright scary at this point to vote on a personality.
But then, I’m not voting for Kamala Harris, either.
I’m hiring to run this great nation, and therefore our world, a person who will fulfill my job requirements: a safer life no matter where I travel, a prosperous bank account and economy, secure borders like every other country in this world has, a strong military, and the right to write this letter without fear of censorship or being cancelled.
We are in the unique situation of knowing exactly where the two candidates stand on the issues that are important.
You’ll notice I didn’t mention pro-life (I don’t believe in killing any human being, no matter their age) or climate policy (we can do better).
We will fight these issues forever, and neither candidate has come up with policies that I agree with.
Based on Harris’ history, I am seriously worried about what would happen to our existence as Americans if she were in charge. She will take this country and world even deeper down the hole we’re in.
Conversely, based on Trumps history, I know that he will do even better than his previous presidency in bringing peace and prosperity to my life. He now knows the political system and has surrounded himself with smart, driven people to advise him.
