MARION
Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
A gram of marijuana (enough for three “joints”) and an unspecified item of drug paraphernalia were discovered after a driver was pulled over at 9:57 p.m. Nov. 1 at Main and 1st Sts. for allegedly driving with a suspended license, according to a report released Monday.
The unidentified driver was ticketed rather than arrested.
Aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, criminal restraint
Charges are pending against two women involved in a disturbance at 7:18 p.m. Nov. 4 in the 300 block of Locust St., according to a report released Monday.
Alicia J. Nienstedt, 50, allegedly backed a vehicle in a threatening manner toward Linda R. Ramirez, 36, outside Nienstedt’s residence. Ramirez then is accused of using her own vehicle to block Nienstedt’s driveway and prevent Nienstedt from leaving.
Police submitted a report to the county attorney listing potential charges of disorderly conduct against both women, aggravated assault against Nienstedt, and criminal restraint against Ramirez.
To date, no charges have been filed.
Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
Stopped at 12:10 a.m. Nov. 6 for allegedly driving 71 mph in a 65-mph zone on US-56 near Industrial St., Andrew M. Audelin, 37, Tomball, Texas, was ticketed on suspicion of drug offenses.
During the traffic stop, a drug dog reportedly indicated the presence of contraband. Eleven grams of marijuana (enough for more than 30 “joints”), a gummy containing marijuana’s active ingredient, THC, and a pen for vaping THC were discovered in his car.
Domestic battery
Stanley H. Warner Jr., 65, Marion, allegedly hit his relative, Kade-Michael L. Warner, 39, in the face with a closed fist during an argument at 10 a.m. Thursday at a residence they share in the 400 block of N. Freeborn St.
The younger Warner suffered what was characterized as an apparent minor injury. The older Warner was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. He was released 12 hours later after posting a $1,500 bond.
