Criminal damage

An SUV of undisclosed make and model sustained unspecified damage estimated to cost $700 while it was parked between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 23 and 7 a.m. Dec. 24 outside owner Rebecca E. Mowat’s home in the 300 block of N. E St. in Ramona, according to an offense report released Dec. 31 by the sheriff’s department.

MARION

Drunken driving, marijuana and paraphernalia possession

An unopened one-ounce bag of cannabis and a glass pipe with marijuana residue were seized after James J. Garrett, 47, Burlington, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Dec. 26 at US-56 and Industrial St. on suspicion of drunken driving, according to an offense report released Monday.

As reported last week, Garrett was taken to Marion County Jail and released six hours later after
