Criminal damage

Thomas W. Britain, rural Florence, reported $350 damage that he said was done at 1 a.m. Feb. 22 to his “Eyesore of the Flint Hills” sign opposing wind farms at US-50 and Sunflower Rd.

According to Britain, the sign has been vandalized at least four other times in the past 13 months.
