Activity reports

Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.

Hillsboro

Jan. 26 — A dog complaint was reported in the 200 block of S. Madison St.

Jan. 27 — Suspicious activity was reported at Lincoln St. and Grand Ave. A motorist received assistance with a vehicle out of gas. A person received assistance with a child’s car seat. An out-of-control juvenile was reported in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St.

Jan. 28 — A reckless driver was reported in the 200 block of S. Date St.

Jan. 29 — A person reported being contacted in violation of a protection order.

Marion

Jan. 27 — A welfare check was provided in the 800 block of E. Main St. A motorist was warned for no child safety restraint in the 300 block of Miller St. Passenger Rexana Siebert, 43, Marion, was subsequently arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Jan. 28 — A noninjury accident was reported in the 1200 block of E. Main St. It occurred on private property with no visible damage.

Jan. 29 — A loose dog was picked up in the 600 block of Maple St. A motorist received a citation on US-56 for an open container, expired driver’s license, and no tag light.

Thursday — A possible trespassing complaint was reported in the 300 block of Elm St., but no one was found. A person was warned for trespassing in the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St.

Friday — A disabled vehicle was checked near 5th and Santa Fe Sts. A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St.

Saturday — A trespassing complaint was reported in the 700 block of S. Cedar St. A motorist was warned for making a J-turn in the 400 block of E. Main St. A person was warned for being in Central Park after park curfew.

Sunday — A loose dog was picked up in the 300 block of S. Roosevelt St. and taken to Animal Health Center.
