Roberta Isaac

Services for Hillsboro resident Roberta (Friesen) Isaac, 77, who died unexpectedly Sunday, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.

Relatives will receive guests from 6 to 8 tonight at Jost Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gnadenau Cemetery.

Born Aug. 4, 1939, to Martin and Marie (Plett) Friesen southwest of Meade, she married Hillsboro resident Alvin Isaac on June 30, 1961.

He survives along with daughter Lynn Wiebe and son Lyle Isaac of Hillsboro and son Lonnie Isaac of Hesston, 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Other survivors include sisters Erma Isaac of Reedley and JoAnn Hamm of Lakewood, Colorado, and twin brother Robert of Sanger, California.

Memorial funds have been established with the church and with Tabor College.
