Kansas Day was celebrated Jan. 29 with sunflower pins, earrings, and T-shirts. Seniors took a quiz about Kansas and answered trivia such as “You know you’re a Kansan when…” and “cool Kansas products.”

Sue Clough led the singing of “Home on the Range,” with Keith Allison as pianist. Shirley Bowers put out sunflower vases as table decorations and Shirley Moore announced door prizes, won by Bea Kelsey and Leland Albrecht.

Sue Clough and Keith Allison will present a musical program Feb. 13.

Seniors are encouraged to wear red on Feb. 14 in honor of Valentine’s Day.
