Terry Winter

A private family service for Hillsboro native Terry Keith Winter, 74, who died Jan. 18, will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Wichita.

Born Dec. 7, 1951, in Hillsboro to Eddie and Pauline Winter, he married Janet Adams on July 4, 1999.

He worked for Hillsboro Industries and Uniflo Conveyor before retiring from the City of Wichita public works department. He also fixed and resold items from booths at flea markets.

Brothers Steven and Ken Winter preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife; daughters Mistie Burnett and Mandy Abernathy; sons Charles Winter and Brandon Winter; stepchildren Janelle Adams, Krystal Shields, and Mark Adams II; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Wichita Animal Action League.
