County commissioners were told Monday that pipe segments for TransCanada’s Keystone Pipeline will be arriving in the next week or two. Pipes will be taken to a staging area at 290th and Quail Creek Rds.
James and Violet Richmond of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 20. The couple owned and operated Marion Lumber for 40 years.

Sixth graders Jacob Stoneberger, Abigail Svoboda, and alternate Bolden Crane were winners of the Centre Elementary School spelling bee. They are representing Centre today at the Marion County spelling bee.
