Pancakes at Kiwanis Pancake Day were too good to decline a second helping Saturday. Bob Brookens, efficient Kiwanian, is pictured bringing from the kitchen as many of the cakes as could be consumed, then dishing up another helping for Mrs. Harold Ewert.
Seven Boy Scouts and scoutmaster John Jordan camped Friday through Sunday on land north of Marion owned by Vern Magathan. The boys hiked to the Chingawassa Springs area and worked on merit badges and skill awards. Those camping were Danny Horsch, Myles Zeller, Mike Jordan, Jeff Conyers, Jeff Harris, Chris Meierhoff, and Monte Dalke.
