These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-56/77 north of 320th Rd.

Chelsea A. Metoyer, 41, Burrton, missed one deer with a 2017 Ford Expedition but hit a second at 9:55 a.m. June 1, according to an accident report released Monday.

Her Ford, owned by Robert G. Metoyer of the same address, sustained disabling damage to its front, hood, and undercarriage and was towed.

US-56/77 south of 240th Rd.

Kristen E. Natal-Roman, 44, Schertz, Texas, hit a deer at 9:50 p.m. June 2 with her 2021 Ford Expedition, which sustained disabling damage to its front half and undercarriage and was towed.

Eight-year-old Analee E. Meza of the same address was a passenger.

US-56/77 north of 340th Rd.

Addison V. Makovec, 18, Herington, hit a deer at 9:32 p.m. June 2 with a 2016 Dodge Dart owned by Allen M. Patterson of the same address.

Sophia I. Luna, 18, Lincolnville, was a passenger.

The car sustained damage estimated to be disabling to its front and right front and was towed by its owner.

US-56/77 north of 250th Rd.

Calvin J. Spellman, 22, Augusta, was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital, Marion, after he drove a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo into the right ditch at 5:30 p.m. June 3.

The Chevy, owned by Christina M. Spellman of the same address, struck a mailbox and a fence owned by Roy Houdyshell before overturning. With damage to the entire vehicle, it was towed.

Deputy Aaron Christner’s report blamed the accident on inattentive driving. No tickets were listed as being issued.

K-150 east of Wagon Wheel Rd.

Marco P. Hernandez-Reisner, 39, Marion, hit two deer, described as very young fawns, at 12:20 p.m. Sunday with his 2017 Jeep Cherokee, which remained drivable despite damage to its front and undercarriage.
