SHERIFF
Citing a staff member’s vacation, the sheriff’s department has not released any accident reports since May 29.
HILLSBORO
Ash St. and Grand Ave.
Joseph D. Plume, 63, Hillsboro, was ticketed for allegedly failing to yield at a stop sign after his westbound 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and a southbound 2016 Toyota Camry collided in the intersection during a shower at 3:52 p.m. June 1.
Plume’s Dodge and the Toyota, owned and driven by Mark A. Curry, 63, Florence, sustained damage characterized as minor — to the front bumper of the Dodge and the left front fender of the Toyota.
Joel Wiens Stadium parking lot
A Tri-County Telephone Co. pickup that Paige C. Baize, 50, was backing out of a parking space at 9:55 a.m. Thursday broke through plywood covering a sump and damaged a pipe on a Tabor College sump pump.
No damage to the pickup, a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, was noted.
