Criminal damage

Thomas W. Britain, rural Florence, reported that damage estimated at $300 was done shortly after midnight May 18 to his wind farm protest sign at US-50 and Sunflower Rd., according to a report released Friday.

HILLSBORO

Theft

A white five-gallon bucket and six metal combine cylinder bars, together valued at $8, were stolen between 5 p.m. May 17 and 8 a.m. May 20 from Douglas L. Taylor’s residence in the 300 block of N. Birch St.
