Peabody ramps up for fall festival
Peabody businesses and residents are ramping up for their annual fall festival Oct. 5.
Sheets for a coloring contest are available at Vintage Bank Kansas. They must be returned by Friday.
Registration forms for a town-wide scarecrow contest are due Friday in the city office.
Registration forms for an art competition are available at Porcupine Tea Company. Forms are due Friday.
Clues for a medallion hunt will begin appearing Monday.
Festival events will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
They will include a car show, bounce houses, a kids zone, vendors, rock wall climbing, a reptarium, local talent, a dog show, horseshoe and cornhole tournaments, art in the park, magician Shawn Reida, a petting farm, and a kids’ tractor pull.
