Ruth Dall

Services for Marion native Ruth Anette (Morse) Dall, 69, who died Saturday at her home in Emporia after a long battle with cancer, are scheduled for noon today at Calvary Baptist Church, Emporia, with a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Marion Cemetery.

Born March 6, 1953, to Earl J. and Hattie (Klenk) Morse in Marion, she graduated from Marion High School in 1971 and attended cosmetology school in Wichita before moving to Emporia, where she met and married Gary G. Dall Sr. in 1973.

She was a licensed day-care provider, opened the Dall House Boutique craft store, and later worked in consignment stores, including Pohler Antique Mall.

Her parents and a brother, Robert Morse, preceded her in death.

Survivors include husband Gary of the home, sons Gary G. Dall Jr., Troy L. Dall, and Steven W. Dall, all of Emporia; brothers Paul Morse of Marion and John Morse of Aurora, Colorado; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Southern Lyon County school district’s honor flight program in care of Charter Funerals, 501 W 6th St, Emporia KS 66801.
