Saving journalism

To the editor:

I have been following your story in the Kansas Reflector and admire your courage and backbone. Thank you. You are saving journalism, and I think the big boys need lessons from you.

I grew up on a farm between Peabody and Hillsboro and graduated from Peabody High.

We fished and picnicked every summer at the Marion lake and drove through the town to get to our fun.

My image of Marion has been enhanced by what has happened. Telling the truth matters.
